Parishes can engage with non-parishioners and non-Catholics and become active participants th thie local community.

I don&#039;t mean in an activist sense, but parishes that utilize social media can reach out (or their parishioners can reach out) to anyone within a local community and win folks to Christ directly or indirectly.  Government and business organizations are becoming more and more savvy with social media and what better way to influence the hearts and minds of community leaders than to be a voice that they hear on a regular basis?
